There is a tropical storm out there?
Tropical Storm Zeta formed on Friday and is currently located about 1450 miles east of the Northern Leeward Islands with top sustained winds of 65 mph. Zeta is the 27th named storm and ties Alice (1954) for the latest forming Atlantic Basin tropical storm on record. Zeta is moving slowly to the west. The storm should weaken slowly over the next day or two. The storm is no threat to land and is mainly a marine interest.
